I have never designed (or played through) any 2d adventure games before, so I wanted to get familiar with some design elements by designing a few low scope, escalating dungeon segments and accommodating puzzles. All 3 are very short and simple but provide thoughtful player guidance though foreshadowing of objectives, and aesthetics, as well as subtle tutorializing mechanics that would be further explored and expanded throughout a full-length dungeon. Additionally, I'm always trying to get familiar with new editing tools and UGC focused games that can provide great reference and insight for when I consult, or design. :)
I've attached some videos but please download them and give them a try, if you'd like! Downloads are located below.
