Elder

The creators have vanished, yet the guardians remain | Elder

Elder is an inverse symmetrical 2 base 2 tower remimagining of Halo 3's Sandbox and Sandtrap environments. It takes the core atmosphere, setting, and key landmarks and pairs it with a new layout viable for 4v4. The goal for this was to retain that instant recognition while providing a new and exciting way to experience it.

While some aspects were iterated on to fit the specific needs of this map, custom scripts (credit: Skisma) offer a faithful adaptation of Sandbox's guardian tower functionality. When a player leaves the playable area, they are tarted and eliminated; accompanied with audio and visual telegraphing, appropiate vfx, and custom killfeed line.
